Safeguarding Our Future

The Craigavon Cowboys American Football Club was founded in 1985 and is one of the longest running American football clubs in Ireland. We have a storied history with many achievements, including multiple all-Ireland titles at senior, youth and flag level, but at the top of our achievements is being able to continuously provide this wonderful sport to our local community at low cost.

In order to keep costs as low as possible for those wishing to play, we are committed to providing safe playing equipment to loan to players. The NIMDM Report, published in 2017, found that the Armagh-Banbridge-Craigavon domain is among the most deprived NI regions, therefore this commitment is vital to allow all in our local community to enjoy American football.

We have helmets and shoulder pads coming to their end of life that we need to replace. All money raised through this initiative will be used to purchase new helmets and shoulder pads, securing our future for many years.
