SAFFE .. sucide affects family, friends everywhere

Hi, my name is Nicola and in July 2020 I lost my 22yr old son Tyler to sucide.
After losing Tyler I've came to realize there is little support out there to help families and friends with the loss of their loved ones. Without having to go on a waiting list, lack of funding etc. And noone can relate to the pain you feel unless they have lost someone to sucide themselves wether it's a relative or friend. I have decided to start this support group SAFFE (sucide affects family/ friends everywhere).
So family and friends can come together and either talk or just listen to each other as we have all suffered the same traumatic experience and can all relate to one another. Wether their loved one died 7 years, 7 months or 7 weeks ago at one time someone's been at that stage and may be able to help someone else who is at that stage of their grief. It will never go away but our lives change and we have to learn to live our lives without their loved one in it.
What ever funds I can raise will go directly to this group to pay for rental of a room, advertising, facilities, activities, resources etc. Myself and others who will help with the running of this group will all be volunteers who have suffered a loss.
Looking to the future once this support group is set up and running and I have some financial funds behind us. I would like to be able to run sessions for people who feel depressed, suicidal and feel they have noone to talk to and may find it easier to talk to someone who feels the same way and can share there experiences, stories etc.
I know I can never bring Tyler back I so wish I could. But in setting this group up and helping and supporting others gives me comfort knowing something has came of Tyler's death. And I feel if I could help even just one person then it would be so worthwhile to me. I feel Tyler will be behind me 100% of the way as he was a sensitive, kind. caring young man. But in my eyes he will always be my baby boy x
