Monica Hayes and Terry Hendricks are getting married. Monica is a nurse who recently recovered from the Covid-19 virus. Terry is a government employee who has been following protocols for quarantine and stayed healthy during this season. They met through the John 17 ministry in Tucson. That ministry was created to promote unity within the Christian church community in Tucson and beyond, serving the Kingdom with churches all over the state. Since they are combining households and have many charities they support, they have asked that donations be made on their behalf to Safford Elementary School in Tucson, rather than giving the couple wedding gifts. Terry’s son Philip is a teacher and coach there. Safford is a K-8 school in the Tucson Unified School District. This school’s students come from challenging and at-risk circumstances. It is a low funded school. Philip, along with his principle, have set up a Go-Fund-Me account so wedding guests and other interested parties could support this school. These funds will go for basic needs like sports jerseys, copy paper and basic classroom supplies. In stead of wedding gift please donate instead to the Go-Fund-Me site to assist the school.
