Medical and unexpected expenses for a Veteran

Hello, On Wednesday June 14th, it seemed like a regular day. Tom and I got up to go and have breakfast but decided to stop at the VA clinic because he was having some neck pain and a headache accompanied with dizziness. After further testing, ct scans and mri’s we received the heartbreaking news that Tom had a brain mass and surgery would be needed to remove asap. Two days later he went to surgery and had the tumor successfully removed except for a very small spec. We did receive the pathology report and the tumor is an aggressive brain cancer . He will need radiation and chemo treatments to remove the rest and prevent any from coming back. This whole thing has completely flipped our world, it’s scary, emotional and extremely overwhelming. But God…. Needless to say we’ve been hit with unexpected expenses. Never in a million years did we think we would ever be here. But staying in faith and believing God for a full recovery.
