Sahmya Heaven Garcia

On November 8th, 2022, our Sahmya Heaven Garcia was taken tragically from us. At the young age of 20, while on her way to work, Sahmya life was taken at the hands of domestic abuse. We are suffering from this; however, her father wants to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else's daughter. This tragedy leaves her family in terrible pain and unprepared to bury their little girl, so I am asking for help.

Let me tell you about our Sahmya to show you what this world has lost tragically. Sahmya was born on February 7, 2002; she was our happy, adventurous, assertive, easy-going baby girl. She was a cancer survivor and a fighter, and she made friends anywhere she went. We will miss her smile; we will miss everything she represented. Sahmya graduated from Paulsboro High School class of 2020. Everyone loved her. Especially her dad. To him, she was his hope, his breath of fresh air; her presence brought him new beginnings. She was one of the reasons he worked so hard to protect. She leaves behind seven brothers, two sisters, her mother and father, and several family and friends. Sahmya brought sunshine on cloudy days; she will be missed terribly by so many.

Sahmya was someone's daughter, a strong young lady and represented what a young woman should be. She made her parents so proud. She did not deserve what happened to her. Her family should not be burying their little girl. Please let us help her family and bring awareness in Sahmya name, so no other young lady suffers in this way.
