We've set up this fund to help them with the funeral expenses and other ongoing grief/recovery support costs. This includes the very expensive process of carrying his mortal remains back to India, so his mom can say goodbye one last time to her beloved son.

Saiesh Veera, 24 a master's student whose H1B got picked, was about to graduate in 10 days and was going to quit the clerk job in a couple of weeks was shot dead at a gas station. He came to the USA(the first in his family) like any other middle-class guy with aspirations and uplift his family situation as his father passed away two years ago. He was always willing to help people in all situations and was such a sport on the cricket field. Every person who plays cricket in the Columbus area would know him, he was a brilliant cricketer and a great friend. I hope god brings peace to Saiesh, his mother, family, and friends who were touched by his soul.
