Sailing around Isle of Wight in laser for Charity
Donation protected
At the end of July I will be sailing 55 nautical miles around the Isle of Wight in a Laser Dinghy to raise money for the RNLI and Sea Shepherd conservation society.
The RNLI provide, on call, 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service at 238 locations around UK and Ireland. 95% of their workers are volunteers, and they allow us to enjoy the sea safely which is hugely important for people like me!
The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society protect marine protected areas from overfishing all over the world, which means no matter where you are, they are helping you. Keeping our seas healthy is something everyone should care about and it is of increasing importance as fish populations decline.
I am looking to raise £2000 which will be split equally between the two charities.
