Sailor the Dog Surgery Fund

My name is Tracy, we are a family of 5. Sailor is a 2 year old Australian shepherd/golden retriever mix. Our sweet Sailor had an accident Monday night. He was on his way to the beach and fell out of the golf cart. He had a large laceration and a torn tendon. He had surgery to repair both the tendon and laceration. He was at the ER vet for 2 days and is back there today to have his cast changed. He will need to be seen several more times. As I’m sure you can imagine emergency vet care is extremely expensive. We are a paycheck to paycheck household and we were not prepared for this kind of expense, but Sailor is an exceptional dog, as most dogs are. My husband has had some serious health issues since Sailor came into our life and Sailor always stays right by his side. We would do anything for him. He has given us so much and asks for little in return, we adore him.
