Saint Catherine Middle School Soccer
Donation protected
I've spent close to two years working at St. Catherine School in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the Athletic Director, and I have loved seeing athletic participation begin to grow and flourish as my students become more and more interested in sports. In recent years, the school has been able to support a handful of teams for a number of sports across a variety of grade levels. Most recently, Saint Catherine School has formed its first middle school soccer team. Having grown up playing soccer for my entire life, I am super excited to be able to coach this team and help these boys grow in skill and love for the game.
As we prepare for our season, I'm raising money to help offset some of the financial costs for some of our players. A majority of the kids at the school are Burmese refugee families fleeing oppressive governments, trying to build a new life, and they do not have the funds to pay for non-essential items for their kids. As a result, we try to keep athletic participation fees to a minimum and gather donations and fundraise for equipment.
My first priority for any donation is equipping all of my boys with a quality pair of cleats that they will use for the season. These cleats will be returned at the end of the season and can be worn by players next year. Following this, additional money will be used to buy additional uniforms for my players (we currently only have one jersey color, and we technically need two jersey colors to play in our league). All remaining money will be used to purchase quality soccer balls and uniform soccer socks.
Any donation amount really goes a long way. I appreciate any help that anyone is able to offer. If you are interested in supporting our program in the long term or outside of a monetary donation, please reach out to me. Thanks so much, and God bless!
