Saint John Trojans RFC's Trojan House

In rugby, our clubs are our family and every family needs a home. The Saint John Trojans, unfortunately, have been without a true home for many years now. We’ve had old apartments and many different restaurants make due but none of them were truly ours. We were able to hold club functions and welcome visiting teams but we’ve always hoped for more. A true home that our club and the community as a whole could benefit from.

The Trojan House is on its way to becoming a reality. A true home right next to our Hazen White Field with locker rooms, a kitchen, banquet hall and a fitness area. Everything a rugby club and the surrounding community could hope for. The building is well underway and, with your help, will be finished by the end of 2023. The total cost of the project is $1,400,000 with the Trojans currently having secured and raised $1,200,000. These funds have come from all 3 levels of government, other foundations and the internal fundraising of the Trojans.

In addition to rugby, we are working closely with local community groups to determine how this space could be leveraged to provide opportunities for the general public. We will have space for recreational classes (ie. dance, gymnastics, art), development courses (literacy, tutoring, cooking, etc) and many other programs that we are excited to offer the surrounding community. All of these initiatives will not only help our teams, but will have a greater impact on the positive growth of our community.

The Saint John Trojans Rugby Football Club is located in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Trojans boast community programs for all ages and skill-levels. The Trojans take pride in being active within their community, whether it be for charitable causes, beautification projects or the creation of school rugby programs in the Saint John area.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the Trojan House project.
