Salem Family - House Fire Support

Hello! Hadeer, Maya, and Leayah here. We are close friends of the Salem family and have received full permission from the family to set up this fundraiser.

On June 21st around 9:30 pm, the Salem family home was engulfed in flames with the cause yet to be determined. 8 family members were home at the time, including 4 children. Thankfully, no one was physically harmed and everyone managed to escape safely but they have lost all their belongings and their house is now uninhabitable. 

This fundraiser is aimed at raising money for a temporary rental until the family can find a permanent home to relocate to and to replace necessities. 

Other ways you can help: we are currently looking for a short-term (3-4 month) furnished rental property to accommodate 4 children and 3 adults preferably in the Markham/North York/Scarborough area. If you have any information that can help, please feel free to contact Hadeer below.
