Brain and Spinal Injury Centre Salford
Hi! I’m running Manchester Marathon on the 27th of April. As many of you will know, I’m by no means a natural runner and have committed to training for and completing this challenge! I really want to try and raise some money for the Brain and Spinal Injury Centre (BASIC), a brilliant charity based in Salford which offers therapy, support and aftercare to people who have had life changing injuries. My mum has been a specialist nurse for brain haemorrhage patients for over 20 years and works closely with this charity and massively values their work to support her patients. Through her, I understand how powerful this service is and want to help in any way I can. Please don’t feel obliged to sponsor, but anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. If you’d like to read more about the service they offer, please see below.
