Help Paul Salinas Beat Pancreatic Cancer

Donation protected
We can all agree that 2020 and 2021 have been incredibly difficult years for everyone.  Unfortunately for my big brother, Paul Salinas and his family; wife Rachel, sons Andrew (11) and Brandon (5),  2020 turned their world upside down. In September of 2020, Paul was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer one of the worst cancers and this May he was forced to shutdown his business after 20 years.  Now he needs our help.

For those of you that may not know my brother, he has dedicated almost 20 years of his life, passionately helping his patients as a Chiropractor in Manhattan. To be honest, I am not sure if I have ever met someone who loved his job as much as my brother, Dr. Paul as his patients call him.

Sadly, the Covid-19 Pandemic devastated his practice. Months upon months of not being able to treat his patients took an insurmountable toll on his business as well as his families income. When finally allowed back into the city many of his patients were gone.  He pushed hard and tried whatever he could do to keep his practice open.

Tragically, during this struggle Paul began to experience severe stomach pain and was unable to work. On September 29th he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer; which is considered one of the most lethal cancers with a dismal 5 year survival rate of roughly 3%.

The medical standard of care for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is mostly unsuccessful, so Paul has spent the last eight months researching and discovering ways to battle this terrible cancer. Through his research Paul has found a team of doctors, which includes his oncologist as well as functional and integrative medicine cancer specialists around the country to help him fight.

Unfortunately, other than his oncologist his health insurance does not cover any of his other treatments which are extremely expensive. These alternative treatments have really helped him stabilize this cancer, improved his bloodwork and strengthened his body which has so weakened by 21 rounds of chemotherapy to date.

To make matters worse, he just opened a brand new office in May of 2019, and was forced to permanently close his practice May 29th 2021. This has been both emotionally and financially devastating to him and his family.

Most of you know that Paul's passion in life has always been about helping people. Now is our chance to help Paul and give back. Paul and his family could use all the financial support they can get.  His medical expenses are increasing weekly.  Weekly injections. Thousands for new genetic testing, cash-only tele-health calls and each visit adds new needs, new costs.

The money raised here will go towards those medicals expenses, medications and future treatments so he can fight. Please forward this to as many people as possible and encourage friends to do the same. As a community we can help Paul with the financial burden that lies ahead so he can focus on his recovery and help him win this battle!

If you know Paul, you already know that he is stubborn as hell- and NEVER GIVES UP! Trust when I say that under these circumstances, this mentality has not changed. We are so optimistic and Thank you all so much for your help, prayers and support!
