Sally and Ed Roosa Family House Fire.

Hello, for those of you who dont know Ke, my name is Eddie Roosa and I am fundraising for my parents who literally just lost everything they own in a hose fire. December 22, 2022 at 1am there was a knock on my door letting me know that my parents house burned down and they had made it out of the house, but there was a total loss. Also living in the home, my brother and son who take care of my parents who are in their mid 80's. The wind was crazy and the fire started and it was just minutes until the house was fully engulfed and the four of them made it out the back door with just them. No shoes, no clothes, no wallets, no phones. Nothing. We are so blessed they came away with minimal injuries, but those replaceable items while small in the greater scheme of things, are important. And needed. There are everyday necessities you need. So we are looking for help. My parents are proud. They wont ask. No matter how much they need it. My parents have been married for almost 50 years. My Dad served 20 years in the Navy and retired. He worked for Boeing for 30+ years and retired. He has been enjoying his retirement. My Mom as well. They are amazing. They not only raised 8 of us, they welcomed our friends in, no questions. They took care of family, no questions. Words cannot express how amazing they are and this is not the time to start over from scratch, but here we are. Days before Christmas. Days before my Moms 85th birthday on Dec 30th. Days after an electrical short took their house during a wind storm and an ice storm the next day. I can go on and on about how amazing they are and even if they weren't my parents, my story would stay the same. But they need help and sometimes we have to put pride aside and ask. Even if it's just for a prayer. That means the world to them. After building 50 years of memories together and then losing everything you own. It's time to rebuild. It's time for new cherished keepsakes and new memories. But with the price of things now and not getting cheaper such as rental costs, deposits, still having bills, food, clothing, fixing or getting a new car as the front end of their car was melted, etc...they just need help. So please, anything helps and we will be eternally grateful.
