Support Sally's Story

Hi, I'm Shelley. Alot of people in mine and my mother's lives are not aware that for several years now my mother - Sally. Has been living with a variety of mental health illnesses, ranging from PTSD to anxiety spurring from events that occurred when she was a child. This year has been particularly testing, my mother has spent time in hospital and was diagnosed with a form of non progressive dementia. My mother was recently recommended to partake in a bootcamp that can have the potential to help reconnect your mind and body. Which would be very beneficial to someone with the illnesses my mother has, whilst waiting for her next stages of treatment to commence. This however comes at quite a cost, my mother was very positive to partake in this but based on current situations it's became out of reach. This is when I decided I could and will do something about this. So.. I'm going to do something I've always said I'd never do and on February 11th 2017 I'm going to be doing a skydive from 10,000ft. (SH*****T!!!)
The decision to allow people into this part of our lives was a difficult one, but I want to do everything to support my mother and hell if that means throwing myself out of a plane, let's do this. Any donation will make a huge difference and will mean more to me and my family than you could ever imagine. If I raise anything over my goal, it will go straight to MIND the mental health charity.
