Salma Begum (mother of Hajar)

Asalamualaykum,

My name is Maynul, brother of Salma.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un 

‎ إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with great sadness that Salma Begum (mother of Hajar) has passed away on the 15th of August 2024. Salma was only 30 years old at the time of death, leaving behind her beautiful 1year old. Losing a sister is a profound and heartbreaking experience. The bond between siblings is unique and irreplaceable, and as parents, the loss of a child is an unimaginable pain. Our sister will always hold a special place in our hearts, and the memories shared will be cherished forever. Salma was too good for this world, she had the biggest heart and was always there for her loved ones, we will deeply miss her and our lives will never be the same again. During this difficult time, we will be grateful if we could pull together as a family and as a community to help our sister in the after life. This can be through dua and if possible donations on behalf of our sister. We would also appreciate if you keep both Salma and her daughter Hajar in your Dua's.

All funds raised will be put towards water wells and sustainable housing for the poor. If we exceed our expectation we will allocate funds to charities accordingly.
