Salmon Valley Speedway Improvements Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Asking all friends, family, race enthusiasts, supporters of racers, racers past and present, to help us raise money for significant improvements to the Salmon Valley Speedway located in Salmon, Idaho.
The first priority is to resurface the existing 1/4 mile dirt oval racetrack which will allow for safer racing conditions, improved track conditions, and an overall upgrade. This will be no small undertaking, it will require the track to be dug up 16 inches, remove the rocks, lay down a solid barrier, and lay 12 inches of red clay. In turn, these improved track conditions, will allow us to draw more races such as sprint cars, late models, national flattrack bikes, supermoto’s, touring series and more.
We also want to update and increase the height of the safety fencing, make repairs to the guardrails, improve the entire lighting system with LED lights, and add a scoreboard, additional grandstands, and scoring tower. After the main track is resurfaced, all of the other projects will fall in various orders on the priority list, depending on how much money we raise. But, if we can reach our goal, it should cover the cost of these improvements.
Salmon Valley Speedway has been a long standing icon in the community, and we strive to continue to bring family friendly entertainment and safe racing to this venue. These improvements will pave the way for the future of the speedway for years to come.
Every little bit helps towards our goal.
This fundraiser is ongoing, so keep sharing!
