Salon de la Sagesse

Salon de la Sagesse is a youth-led, non-profit initiative committed to fostering intellectual growth, interdisciplinary dialogue, and community engagement. Founded in Vienna in 2020, our organization unites young pioneers from over 30 countries who are passionate about making the world a better place. Guided by our motto, “Communitas et Incrementum Sapientiae,” meaning "Community and Growth in Wisdom," we cultivate a global community where ideas, creativity, and knowledge are freely exchanged.

Inspired by the 18th-century French salons littéraires, our gatherings, both virtual and in-person, offer a confidential space for deep discussions on topics ranging from culture to economics. We operate on principles of diversity, inclusivity, and exclusivity—welcoming individuals from all backgrounds while carefully curating a network of extraordinary thinkers and innovators. With the Chatham House Rules guiding our discussions, members can openly share without concern for external judgment or exposure.

As our community grows, so do our ambitions. From hosting online events and publishing insightful newsletters to organizing annual conferences in Vienna, we are focused on fostering intellectual collaboration that will shape a sustainable and promising future for our members and the planet. However, as we expand our offerings, rising operational costs—including legal fees, platform subscriptions, venue rentals, and speaker engagements—are straining our resources. Although we’ve adjusted our membership fees, they alone cannot cover the increasing demands.
