Help Feed Saluti's Horses

We have a herd of 27 wonderful, happy healthy horses here at Saluti Horse Adventures (salutihorseadventures.com), located just above Saluti Cellar's Winery in Somerset, California.

Here is our story.

We were the new owners of Mar Vista Stables, a 35+ year trail riding and boarding business based in Daly City, CA. We had 4.5-5-star reviews... Unfortunately, due to a change in land ownership, we were evicted by the new owners and given only 30-days notice to vacate the property, close the business and find somewhere to take our horses. We had just purchased the business and now all our investments were wiped out in one land swap.

My wife Brenda and I made a promise long ago to these horses that their “forever home” was with us. And that will be true whether they are working with us or retiring with us! We are bonded to our horses forever. Our lifelong dream has always been to take happy people, riding happy horses, down happy trails while they learn a little bit about the fun of horses and horsing around.

Unbelievably, with very limited funds but with numerous people assisting us out of the kindness of their hearts, we found a place to land at Saluti Cellar’s Ranch.

After relocating, we are still establishing the business and lack the funds to get thru both the winter season when there are virtually no trail rides and the restart period as folks coming to the Gold Country gradually start to discover us.

Now our horses eat a lot but these 27 eat well! We have been told they are the best-looking trail horses around. This fundraiser is for ongoing hay and supplements until spring/summer when revenues will pick up and Saluti Horse Adventures becomes more self-sufficient. We and our horses are grateful for any help you can give us to continue the survival of this herd. Ten dollars or twenty. It all matters.
