Hello, dear friends,

I am Salwa Rayan from Gaza City. I am married to Hamza Abu Al-Omarin, and we have a four-year-old daughter named Hawr. I am also currently in the third month of pregnancy with a new baby. I used to work as a digital marketer, and my husband works as a graphic designer for a large company. We lived with our daughter in safety and love, and we had many dreams and ambitions that we sought to achieve in order to build a better future for ourselves and our children.

However, since October 7th, we have lost everything: safety, work, home, and love. We have lost many of our loved ones and relatives, and our lives have become unbearable. The ongoing Israeli war, which has lasted for over 10 months, has destroyed our lives and deprived us of safety. We live in77 constant fear for our lives and the life of our only child, Hawr.

We have been displaced from Gaza City to Khan Younis, then to Rafah, and now to Deir al-Balah. The machinery of death continues to pursue us, claiming many lives around us. We live in a tent that is unfit for living, suffering from extreme heat and widespread diseases, and we are in a state of despair, anticipation, and fear.

After all this, with our lives and our family's lives at stake, I humbly appeal to you for help to rescue us and support us in leaving Gaza to build a new life when the opportunity arises. The Gaza Strip is no longer livable or suitable for building any future.

I place my hope in you, my friends and brothers, to stand by us so that we can see the bright side of life again, compensate for our losses in life and work, and build the future we have always dreamed of.
