Sam and Kristen’s medical expenses

About a month ago Sam and Kristen’s world was turned upside down when Sam was diagnosed with rectal cancer. As you can imagine, this was a shock to everyone as Sam is an otherwise healthy 38 year old young man. Sam will begin treatment this summer including chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. The financial, emotional and physical burden has been so much for Kristen and Sam. As newlyweds and Sam just beginning his career as a nurse in the cardiac ICU, they were just starting out their lives together. This is something no one should have to go through at such a young age.
