Sam's 10th Birthday in Times Square!

Every year for the past 9 years since he was born, I have submitted a picture of Sam for the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Times Square Video Presentation. Every year we have been thanked for our submission but not chosen.

This year, Sam was one of just over 500 photos out of more than 2,100 photos submitted that was selected for the 2021 NDSS Times Square Video!!!!

We are so excited but now, we need your help.

On September 17th-19th, 2021, Sam and I would love to fly out to NYC and stay for the weekend to be present on Saturday, 9/18, when his picture will be shown on one of two adjacent ClearChannel Jumbotron screens LIVE in Times Square and later that day, participate in the NYC Buddy Walk.

** By the way, Sam turns double digits (10!) on Sunday, September 19th, 2021, and would love to have this experience be a part of his birthday celebration.

Please consider donating to his birthday fund to spend an extra special weekend celebrating not only his 10th birthday in NYC, but also cheering on all of the individuals with Down Syndrome in Times Square!

Finally, the picture submitted (shown above) was the last picture of Sam with his Lolo (Tagalog - the language of the Philippines - for Grandpa), my dad, who died of COVID in April of 2020. An even extra special photo of two extra special people.
