Sam Laster II

Pensacola, FL’s Handlebar Vibe Patrol is seeking short term financial assistance for our Captain, Sam Laster. Sam was recently assaulted at the Handlebar gate by an overly inebriated customer who refused to acquiesce to Sam’s verdict of no reentry due to said knucklehead’s observed obnoxious behavior. In the resulting correction of perpetrator’s subsequent response, Sam fractured a fragment of the proximal head on the 5th metacarpal of his right hand. The injury required surgical pinning of the fragment with casting of his right hand for ~ 6 weeks. In order to fully profit on the potential income of our Vibe Patrol position at the Handlebar requires the use of both hands. Being injured to single handed status limits not only the hours available to cover but also the ability to $hare in the bounty provided by the genero$ity of our local music loving community. There is also and always the significant financial burden of requiring intervention/care when injured and/or ill in the land of the free and home of the brave. Even though insured. Most delightfully, Sam & his wife, Amber are engaged, loving parents to two beautiful children, Roman & Emery. We seek to ease some of the stress from this situation on Sam and family by bridging this financial gap until Sam can once again get both hands on those oars and row mightily in our river of remuneration.
