**SAD UPDATE**

Sam went through a number of procedures in an attempt to save his life. Unfortunately the infection was too strong and he did not respond, he was very sadly helped over The Rainbow Bridge 01.02.2024 in the evening.

Jaine and the rest of us are utterly devastated by this and Jaine has been left with a massive vet bill of around £6.5k. If you can even help a little with this it would be very much appreciated as, not only being left with the worry of this bill, she is also left with a hole in her heart horse size.

Every single one of you that can help will be so much appreciated.

Hi, I am setting this up as a very important request for my friend Jaine MacPherson. Jaine set up a rescue centre for horses many years ago spanning over 7 years and rescued over 50 horses with various illnesses and problems.

Circumstances got in the way and Jaine basically lost everything including her home and her businesses. The charity had overwhelmed her and unfortunately other people got their feet under the table and the charity was literally whipped away from her.

She managed to keep her two horses going while trying to build her life back. Just recently, her boy Sparky had a serious injury in the field and was in the hospital for nearly a month. This financially drained her but with support and help she managed to get through this, just.

Now her boy Sam is in the veterinary hospital with, what started out as a corn, has led to a serious infection travelling up his leg and going into his knee.

His outcome at the moment is bleak if we cannot raise enough money for an operation to dig out the infection from his knee and to basically cut half his foot off to let it regrow with a metal plate being placed on the remainder of his foot.

This will cost in the region of £7.5k and Jaine is heartbroken at the fact that the choice of keeping her boy alive or to have him euthanised basically comes down to money.

I am asking you to help this situation, to dig deep and give Sam the option of life. No animal should have to have it's life considered due to lack of funds.

Sam is a beautiful boy, 20 years young with plenty of life left to live.

Please help Jaine as she has saved so many horses in the past maybe it's now her turn to receive a bit of help.
