Sam Pettit Memorial Fund

Sam Pettit was a friend, brother, and loved one to many.

Sam was passionate about many things, but I've never seen someone go about their passions and/or opinions the way Sam did. Sam taught, Sam inspired, Sam fought, and Sam loved.

Sometime in 2016, Sam Pettit and a handful of other members of our chapter wanted a basketball hoop outside to help with recruitment. We ultimately decided that our funds would be better spent elsewhere, as at this time we only had so much to allocated toward recruitment.

In Sam's passing, we have decided to work toward not only helping his family in these devastating times, but build a basketball court/hoop in his honor. Immediate funds will go toward helping the Pettit family, any remaining funds will go toward concrete being poured and set, the lines being painted, the purchase of the basketball hoop, and the installation, as well as any memorial branding that may be added.

Please, if you are able to give, no matter what the amount, do so, in remembrance of Sam. The Zeta-Pi chapter, its members, and all those who loved by Sam and loved Sam thank you.
