Sam Sampson's Medical Fund

About a year ago, I made the challenging move from Rhode Island to Texas to be with my fiancee. Things have been going great until the last few months. I have an awesome job surrounded by amazing people, Taj and I signed a two year lease, and set a date for our wedding. Then it all took a turn when I started experiencing extreme abdominal pain. A visit to urgent care sent me to the ER where a gallstone and my gallbladder needed to be removed. A five day hospital stay. It was a difficult recovery during which our truck broke down. As I worked on repairs, one complication after another finally halted my progress. We tried taking the bus to and from work but the rickety ride was too painful and we had to take Lyfts when we couldn't catch a ride. The pain still wasnt getting better and a visit to the surgeon revealed I had stents in that needed to be removed. I was unaware and got on to trying to reach the doctor who placed the stents. We went back to the hospital, and they found another, larger stone the doctor missed. A three day hospital stay. We are applying for FMLA and doing all we can to try and catch up on our rent, get the truck repaired, and hopefully pay off some of these sizeable medical bills, and now need to ask for a little help. Any money that exceeds our goal will be put towards paying off the medical bills. It's been a rough road and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
