Sam, Shay, and Skylar

Hello,

My name is Taylor. I am organizing a fundraiser for my beautiful friend Samantha (Sam, pictured.) It is with deep regret and the heaviest of hearts to say that Sam is no longer with us. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of her wife, Shay and their daughter Skylar (pictured.) Sam had a very unexpected and untimely departure leaving behind her wife, their daughter and countless friends. She was 35. I am initiating this fundraiser to help in all the ways across the board. Please know that your donation will keep the lights on, food on the table, memorial expenses, funeral services, and a small savings account for Sky Baby as she continues to grow up in this world. Shay and Skylar are loved immensely by Taylor, Jay, Emily, Devin, and Amanda. We are a family. We, their family are exhausting all efforts to ensure moving forward without Sam will not be a burden on our beautiful family. We would be blessed to receive a dollar. I pray that we accomplish much more than that.

The following biography was written by us.

I will always remember her laugh, how she used to like to scare everyone, her silly dances, and how much she always did for others. Most of all how much she loved Skylar and Shay. She had such a huge heart. She loved everyone and wanted to include everyone. She wasn't afraid to be herself and accepted everyone for who they were. She was a strong person who stood up for what she believed in. She made the corner of the world she lived in brighter. She had a big, bold personality and loved to laugh with you and at you. She was a very unique person who was loved and she whole heartedly loved others. Everyone who crossed her path in life were embraced through her welcoming smile and goofy personality. She accepted

everyone as they were and pushed people to be better versions of themselves. She helped me so much through some hardships in the last year as we went from friends to family. There's so much more I could say, but what I'll miss most is seeing her with Skylar, her little partner in mischief, and the beautiful love story she lived with her partner, Shay. Sam was such a beautiful and kind soul. I, personally have been the recipient of her constant generosity. She gave me her last thirty dollars to fill my car so I could make it to work that week. She would give me her half of groceries to make sure I had food at home when I couldn’t afford it. When I didn’t have shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair she brought me hers from home and told me to keep it. She was the absolute best mother, friend, and wife. I wish I had a thousand more years with her. We all do. Any and all donations are very much appreciated. Please consider donating.
