Sam Shepherd Car Accident Fund
Donation protected
On March 12, Samantha Shepherd was involved in a car accident; a three car collision totaled her car and caused physical injuries. Thankfully, her injuries were minor but Sam is left without means of transportation. Sam is a full-time student at USD, working on her Master’s for marital and family therapy. She also currently works for Kickstart as a bilingual therapist intern for youth ages 10-25 for early prevention/intervention of psychosis in underserved populations. She is currently not getting paid since she a full time student. Sam is two months away from graduating, She does a lot of home visits for her internship and without a car it will be difficult to see clients who do not have the means to come into the office for therapy. She will also struggle to get from school to the clinic. Her family cannot afford to fully help her out with a new car so I have started this fund to help her out. These circumstances could not have come at a worse time, with the occurring Corona virus, pandemic, but any contribution would help toward reaching the goal. I would greatly appreciate it and so would Sam.
