Hi, my name is Melissa Carlson Weymouth and I am Sam’s mom. Sam is fighting the Biggest fight of her life right now and we could use your help.

It all started when Sam started having increased pain and weakness throughout her body toward the beginning of the year. We thought just give it some time and she’ll start to feel better. Unfortunately, she did not get better but continued to get worse. So we began to search for answers on her deteriorating health.

After endless doctor appointments, ER visits, blood test and scans we finally found the answers.

In late June Sam was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called - Lymphocyte-rich Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Only 5% of all Lymphoma cancers are this type.

Treatment is a very aggressive regimen of chemotherapy. We have chosen Welch Cancer Center. We travel there every other week so she can receive her chemotherapy treatment.

The financial challenges have been immense even with medical insurance. It doesn’t even come close to covering the costs it takes to fight cancer.

We sincerely appreciate your contribution no matter how big or small. Money raised will go toward all current and future treatment, travel expenses, insurance deductibles/copays and anything else Sam may need.
