Hello! We are Samantha and Daniel. Welcome to our page. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us, our story, and our journey trying to complete our family.

We have been together for 18 years and married for 14 of those. Our path to parenthood started just a few years into our marriage. What we thought would be a quick nine months soon turned into over six years of endless fertility treatments. After several rounds of IVF and one lost pregnancy we found ourselves with nothing more to give. With great sadness we came to the realization that our dream of having a child would no longer be possible. We made the difficult decision to stop treatments and take time to focus on our recovery and careers. We spent that time deeply working on our partnership and ourselves. We also needed to spend the time financially recovering from the extensive cost of the IVF treatments.

Time helped ease the pain and we carried on with our lives, but the hope of being parents never truly died in either of us. After several meetings with family planning experts, we decided that surrogacy would be the best path for us to finally becoming parents. After sharing our decision with those closest to us, a family friend has graciously volunteered to serve as our surrogate. However, with the happiness that comes from this overwhelming act of generosity is the realization that the financial burden is something we cannot overcome on our own.

The years of fertility treatments took their toll on us both emotionally and financially. Though asking for assistance is awkward and uncomfortable, we’ve decided to try and use this platform to raise funds towards building our family.
