SAMSARMY Samantha Anger medical expenses

Hello my name is Melissa McMurry. I am Samantha Angers sister. It’s update time. And this one comes with a call to action from each and everyone of you.

Well it’s time to be completely transparent as it’s a big sense of urgency that we pull together for our girl. As some of you may know Sams original diagnosis was 2 years ago for triple negative breast cancer. Within that diagnosis Sam fought through Chemo treatments that made her so sick she was hospitalized several times. As you all remember this was in the height of the pandemic. So this kept her alone in the hospital away from her 4 year old son at the time and husband. But she persevered through it. She fought hard with your love, support and prayers. She recovered through a double mastectomy and was headed toward healing and receiving her breast augmentation.

As they were preparing her for her next step in the recovery process of this horrible disease of breast cancer, it was discovered that her cancer had metastasized in both of her lungs with 6 months of her mastectomy. She was stage 4 Lung Cancer. Since then she has gone through 2 separate chemo treatments as well as 2 separate immunotherapy treatments.

Unfortunately it saddens us all so much to say they have not helped our girl. The cancer in her lungs is growing at a horribly rapid rate.

She’s not done fighting y’all.

I want to say it again!!! SHES NOT DONE FIGHTING!

She has opted to take a very strong chemo cocktail with hope that this will shrink them giving her some relief from this disease in her lungs but also more time!

Time is the key word here! There is a treatment available out of state that has shown proven results of full remission for patients just as sick as Sam. The process has been started to get her there, but it’s a timely process and costly.

Here’s where you come in. Her family and her tribe of wonderful friends are putting their head’s together as we speak to organize some fund raisers to help support with cost of treatment, travel expenses, and financial support for her family while she’s continues to literally fight for her life.

We are open to suggestions and offer of support. Movement needs to be made quickly so we can get her the much needed treatment. Any thing at this point is helpful. If your unable to donate please keep Sam lifted in love and prayer.

Let’s rally around our girl as the Army that we are for her. This 33 year old mother to a 6 year old son and a wonderful wife to her husband Steven Anger deserves the absolute most we can do for her.
