Samantha Todd eye surgery

Hey everyone, I don't usually do this or put my business out there but I am desperate as I'm losing my vision more and more each day. In December of 2020 after two plus years of eye issues and eye exams --to figure out the root of the problem --I was diagnosed with what I was told was a degenerative and incurable eye disease.

They wanted to send me to a specialist which would take some time to get into. This caused my condition to worsen, therefore also continuing to make things like driving and other tasks more difficult. I am even beginning to experience blindness in not one, but both eyes. Finally in March of 2021, I was able to get into the specialist, & was CORRECTLY diagnosed with cataracts in BOTH eyes. This was then and is now continuing to worsen by the day.

One of the major reasons I haven't been able to get some help with this, is because i DON'T have ANY health insurance to cover the cost of surgery on BOTH eyes, or the new glasses that I'll need after surgery to continue correcting my issues. This is where I'm hoping for support of family and friends! I was told all costs for both eye surgeries would run about $8,500 to $9,000, including both surgeries, doctor co-pays and glasses.

I have a consultation with the surgeon tomorrow that I have waited six months for. In confirming my appointment, I found out I can't make payments, and found out the appointment tomorrow 10/26/21will cost 400-600 dollars. If I don't have the money to pay, I have to reschedule when the next available appointment is January 2022. We were hoping to schedule my surgery by December of 2021 as I need my eyesight to resume work in mid-December.
