Samantha Weigel Family Memorial Fund

My beautiful niece, Samantha Weigel, suffered a fatal accident while hiking on Antelope Island in Syracuse, Utah on February 12, 2021.  She is survived by her loving husband, Warren, and three young children.  Samantha's beautiful smile and warm, caring nature touched all who met her.  One of her great passions was hiking. Friends and family members often joined Sam on her daily hiking adventures and the rest of us enjoyed her beautiful pictures and thoughtful prose in her social media posts. Sam was a delightful ray of sunshine and an easy soul. She was a loyal friend, generous and kind, funny and sincere. Her cheerful disposition and adventurous spirit will be more than missed.  We mourn with her sweet family, parents, siblings, and friends. 

Our hope is to defray the costs of the funeral, childcare, and other unexpected expenses associated with this tragedy. Any donation is appreciated and will ease the financial burden for Warren and his children as they move forward without their beloved wife and mother.
