Samaria's Urgent Medical Need

Hi, my name is Samaria. Technically, I take care of myself; I don’t have parents to help me. I have Hep C which at first cured itself, but it can come back at any given time without proper treatment. I don’t have health insurance, and the job I do have I can’t work because it’s FedEx, and my stomach pain (liver) prevents me from lifting certain things. My car is currently not working, and the stomach pain on my right side(liver) is getting worse. I’ve already thrown up yellow bile, and experiencing Jaundice (Red eye) and dryness in my left eye.

I haven’t had annual wellness checks as a kid, the only time I’ve seen a doctor were for the required school shots. I can’t afford to go to the doctor or pay out of pocket. It’s hard to get a job at the moment. I did have one but due to certain situations I was forced to up and leave from Texas to Colorado because I had nowhere to go. That move wasted most of my savings, then some people from the gas station stole my phone requiring me to buy a new one which also spent most of my savings, and finally the mental stress of all that took place in 2024 unfortunately effed up my college education. Knowing I still needed an education and financial aide couldn’t fund me anymore I paid $700 out of pocket to get back to school. Savings wiped! Now I’m experiencing car trouble (I DoorDash on the side) and can’t go to work at FedEx even if I wanted to with it being 30 minutes away and my grandparents who I just recently came back to a few months ago won’t be able to pick me up @10pm at night. Now they’re threatening termination.

I looked up treatment, and it costs 50-78k to properly get treated. I planned to go to the Air Force, but since Hep C is a blood-borne disease, I won’t be able to apply unless I get treated. Please, whatever helps is much appreciated! Thank you. God bless!
