I am not really sure how to start?

My brother was hit by a car Monday evening and taking to the hospital in critical care. Over the last few days he has stabilized and making steps towards improvement but he has many more hurdles and we could really use the extra prayers right now. During the accident he sustained multiple injuries including a break at C2, L3, both ankles, three skull fractures, and a fracture in his left orbital bone. His biggest and most important surgery was Tuesday afternoon where he had C2-T1 fused. The neurologist who performed the surgery said it went well and what they wanted to achieve (cleaning the broken bone and stabilizing the neck) they did. Yesterday he had both ankles repaired and that went good as well. One of his last surgeries, once the Neurosurgeon clears him will be “cosmetic” to repair the s
fracture on his orbital and frontal bones.

As of right now, Sean can hear/understand what we are saying and respond with blinks. He can now also feel pain (a leg hair being pulled or pinching his fingertips) but can not move other then his face in response to the pain. Lastly, we are waiting for him to take a breath on his own.

The staff at the hospital has been great so far and really informative, updating us every step of the way.

We will not be sharing any photos of Sean to avoid London ending up seeing one. We do not want her to see her daddy like this and the internet is a wild place.

Between my mom, myself, and visiting immediate family, we are making sure Sean knows how much he is loved and how much we need him to keep fighting.

Any donations received will go towards family expenses while Sean is in the hospital, any equipment or care that is needed once he starts to recover more, and in an account to be saved for London.
