Piano Benefit Concert for GiveDirectly

Hi! 

I'm performing in a solo piano benefit concert over Zoom (click HERE to join) this Thursday, April 2 at 6:30PM PT to help raise money for GiveDirectly's cash transfers to vulnerable households, most of them single mothers, impacted by COVID-19.

I'd love for you and any friends you think would be interested to attend! Please RSVP by donating to GiveDirectly on this page. The suggested donation is between $20-$50; anything at the higher end or more is extra helpful for us to reach the goal of raising $1000 in total.

I'll be performing Chopin's Ballade No.1, quite possibly my favorite musical work of all time. In just under ten minutes, Chopin creates a musical world that encompasses the emotions of an entire lifetime. It's also notoriously difficult to play, so I've been working hard on it for some time now. I can't wait to share it with you :) 

Performance Time and Location:

6:30PM PT this Thursday, April 2 on Zoom (click HERE to join).  I'll introduce the piece I'm playing, Chopin's Ballade No. 1, as well as GiveDirectly, for a few minutes before performing the piece. I'll do a little bit of informal Q&A after, and we will wrap up around 7:00PM PT. 

Ticket Price: 

$20-$50 suggested donation to GiveDirectly, which is distributing direct cash transfers  to vulnerable households in this time. GiveDirectly is one of the most cost efficient and effective charities today. 

Other Logistics:

Feel free to dress casually, formally, or however you'd like! And also feel free to sip on your beverage of choice :)
