Super Samir's Second Battle (Relapsed Leukemia)

Our Beloved Warrior, Samir Alfonso Medina was born September 06, 2017. Shortly after turning 2 years old; on November 06, 2019 my brother Samir was diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. 

After infinite hospital visits & the most incredible will to live, Samir defeated Leukemia. On February 14, 2022 our brave lil boy rang the bell with his cowboy boots. Sadly this victory was short lived as our baby boy is battling Leukemia once again.

On June 2022, it was confirmed. Leukemia has returned with force . Leukemia cells were found; not only in his bone marrow and blood unfortunately they are now in his spinal cord & possible cerebral fluid. Samir will face yet another tremendous battle as he will have to repeat the almost 3 year treatment yet again. He has started very aggressive treatment; along with twice a week visits to the operating room for Intrathecal chemo. We are asking for prayers, love & support during this strenuous time for our family. 

Please support with whatever you can; no amount istoo small. All the funds donated will be used to aliviate the financial burden that a cancer diagnosis brings to any family. We are a single-parent household and the financial strain to our mother is immense. 

He is currently inpatient at the El Paso Children's Hospital & our mother (Norma Cervantes) is currently at his bedside unable to attend work nor fully provide for our family, thank you for taking the time to read our story.
