The Hicksons Campaign for Macmillan Caring Locally

As some of you may know, Gary Hickson, a loving husband to Jo and wonderful Dad to Kerry, Sammie-Jo, Marc and Eddie, passed away on Sunday 21st June. He was looked after by the incredible team at Macmillan Caring Locally in Christchurch. The team showed every bit of compassion and kindness to both Gary and his family throughout the most difficult time. We would love to raise some funds in Gary's memory to go towards a much needed new unit for the hospice.  Gary's funeral is planned for Monday 6th July and unfortunately due to the current pandemic only limited people are able to attend. We therefore ask for donations to Macmillan Caring Locally in lieu of flowers.  Thank you. More information about Macmillan Caring Locally: Macmillan Caring Locally supports the Macmillan Unit, a Palliative Care unit at Christchurch Hospital in Dorset. It operates The Grove, a hotel in Bournemouth for Cancer patients and carers and also supports a range of posts and services for Cancer diagnosis and treatment at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
