Sammy D documentary

Samuel T Dobrowolski died May 25th 2012. Sammy was my best friend and band mate my entire life. We grew up together skateboarding, making music and even making films and attending film school together.  Sammy was friends with EVERYONE and everyone loved him. He lived an exciting and eventful life, was in multiple bands and was like a local celebrity but was taken from us in 2012 to a losing battle with addiction. I’ve been planning on making this documentary for years as I have 100s of hours of footage that him and I both filmed over most of our lives. I want to tell his story but I need your help. Filmmaking takes a lot of time and a lot of money and anything helps. Like I said we were both filmmakers and I know  if it were the other way around he would do it the right way just like I am trying to do. All of the money raised is going right into the gear needed to make this documentary. If everything goes right, I will be selling tickets for a movie premiere and donating all profits to a local charity “Sages Army” their mission is to address issues related to drug and alcohol addiction by providing informational support to children and families by raising awareness one person at a time. Sammys story deserves to be told and I greatly appreciate any help I can get so THANK YOU!
