Sammy Keller's Recovery Fund

Hello,

My name is Jessie Keller and my father, James Keller (mostly known as Sammy), was the victim of a hit-and-run accident on Friday evening December 30th. He was crossing Chesapeake Ave at State St in Eastport when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. My dad was airlifted to Capital Regional Medical Center and is currently in critical condition. At this time we are waiting to determine if he has sustained brain damage or not. If he makes it, he will need many additional surgeries and has a very extensive healing journey ahead of him.

Right now, the Annapolis Police Department doesn't have much information to go on. Our family is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who steps forward with information to help catch the person who struck my dad and left him in the street.

We are asking for help with my dad's medical bills and expenses, as he will likely be in the hospital for a very long time if he pulls through.

I will try to update everyone on his condition as I can. Right now things are in wait-and-see mode. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered to help. My dad is a good man and our family is humbled by everyone's kindness.
