Let's get Sam out of the US and into the UK

Howdy. My name's Callum, but this fundraiser ain't about me. It's about my friend Sam.

Sam is fantastic artist, a gentle soul and a passionate dork. Sam is also trans, which is not a great thing to be when you're living in Alabama.

The few years have seen LGBT+ rights stripped back at terrifying pace. To name a few: The banning of LGBT+ discussion in schools, the criminalization of hormone therapy and the reversal of the nondiscrimination act in medicine, meaning trans citizens can be refused healthcare. Flags that once waved proudly are gone due to threats of violence. The hate is palpable. Sam is depressed, unsafe and alone.

HOWEVER,

So we turn to you, friends, family and strangers. The most important thing in the world is making sure our loved ones are safe. I want to see Sam happy and secure, allowed to finally be themselves, but we need your help to make that happen. Please donate what you can, and if you can't donate don't hesitate to share.
