Sammy's 3rd battle against reoccuring brain tumors
Donation protected
Sammy is a compassionate, creative and caring young woman. She is also a brain cancer survivor from 2008 and 2015. Unfortunately, her tumor has returned for a third time. We will not know yet if the cancerous cells are back until after her surgery which is scheduled for July 23rd. The tumor was discovered during her annual MRI. Currently, the treatment plan is brain surgery. After the tumor is removed, the doctors will decide if chemotherapy and/or radiation will be needed.
She needs help covering deductibles for medical bills, follow up care, medication, transportation and be able to pay her bills while she is recovering. Unfortunately, we do not know how long she will be out of work due to the fact that it is a physical job. In the past, it has taken her almost a year to really be herself again.
Sammy is a fighter and has more internal strength than anyone I have ever met. I believe she will overcome this as she has before. This time she needs some help she would never ask anyone for. Thank you ahead of time for all the support, best wishes and prayers.
As her mother, I have watched her struggle and battle this over the years. However, this time she is an adult and it is a lot of financial responsibility for such a young lady. I just want to see her be able to find some peace in recovering and not add more stress than is already on her plate.
Updates will be posted here as a way to reach more than I can call.
Please feel free to share with your friends and family.
