Joyce & Nikki Sampaga Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
It was August 7th, 2016, and it was a beautiful Sunday noon. They were getting ready to share a meal for lunch when the unexpected happened. From out of nowhere was raging fire, taller than the patio door, engulfing everything on its path. The flames hastily went after anything and everything. There wasn't a second to spare - the family ran out, bare feet, saving each other.
Joyce & Nikki lost most everything to the fire. What weren't burned down to ashes were covered in soot and barely recognizable. While their insurance will cover some of the loss, it will be a long, challenging road ahead. There's the upfront expense to meet their immediate and basic necessities; food, clothing, healthcare. And then there's the anticipated expense, the rebuilding of the home to get it as close to what it was.
With utmost gratitude and humility, we ask for your assistance to get them through this ordeal. Any amount of kindness will go a very long way.
Many of us are witnesses to Joyce & Nikki's generosity. As friends, and even acquaintances, we share the familial feeling bonded by the hospitality that only Joyce & Nikki know to foster. We hope that as a community of friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and even compassionate strangers, we can all come together to help them during this very trying times.
They may have lost a house, but together we can help sustain their needs as they rebuild their loving home.
With genuine gratitude,
Superfriends.
