Sam’s Cancer Journey

UPDATE***

Life has handed me lemons and I'm asking anyone, everyone, to help me make some lemonade. April 11th I found out that my cancer spread. My cancer has moved and is hanging inbetween the main artery and vein traveling towards my heart. On April 30th, due to quick growth from the December 2023 scan to the scan in April 2024, it was decided that surgery is urgent.

On May 14th my sternum will be cracked and the sucker will be pulled out. I have a bit of recovery ahead of me so any vibes, shares, and assistance is SO GREATLY needed.

I am angry.

I am sad.

I am distant.

I am scared.

But I am also hopeful and thankful for how many people have been standing beside and behind me in this fight.

I know that everyone is experiencing hardships with the way the world is right now and am so fortunate that people are helping me with what's about to come.

Hello, Sam’s sister Toni here. As much as we didn’t want to have to make one of these, it has become inevitable. Samy was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer that has metastasize into the lymph nodes in her neck, which will require that she undergo immediate surgery to remove the tumor.

Because of the urgency to complete this surgery, begin radiation treatment, and allow time for recovery, Samy will need a unknowing amount of time off of work.

We don’t want the burden of finances to impact Samy’s recovery or chances of beating this horrible disease and so we are asking that if you can find it in your heart to donate to this page it will undoubtedly mean the world to those of us that love her and most importantly Samy.
