HEY friends!
First thank you for being in my life! I hope that God is doing as many wonderful things in your life as He is in mine. I want to share with you a challenging and exciting ministry opportunity that God has presented to me. I feel like I have seen so many hearts transformed just in my last several years traveling around our beautiful country and ministering to those with cancer. It has been an incredible experience! Ever since I graduated nursing school I have always wanted to go on a medical mission and bring hope and health and use my skills for good… and Now I have been pursued by My Father’s House International to go with a team to El Salvador for 10 days. This trip will be reaching out and spreading gospel to the people of El Salvador while also providing medical care and much needed medical supplies to those who desperatly need it. I am thrilled to be part of this.
While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and the team. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we provide care to the people of El Salvador. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time we need to raise $3,000 each to attend this trip, and that is quite a challenge!
I look forward to doing this exciting work and letting you know all about how God has worked through this team when I return! I KNOW He will continue to mold my heart during this trip too. I promise I will work very hard to make a difference and bring hope and healing to those in San Salvador and La Casa de mi Padre, a very poor area where medical care is severely limited and dental care is nonexistent. I will be part of a team that will cover the most needed services and that will also bring medicine and supplies to treat these patients. Our team of American doctors and nurses are generously giving their time and expertise to help provide good medical/dental care for those that cannot afford or get that care.
Would you consider supporting me with a small donation? I will need to raise all my funds BY THE END OF JANUARY in order to pay for airline tickets and secure my spot on the team. Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is appreciated and I AM GRATEFUL for you! It is always hard to ask for help, but you would be helping so many, and anytime you can help one person- that is a solid investment!
