RIP Samson , thank you to all who supported and donated over these last 7 months.

samson suddenly passed away on 8th November, we’re devastated!

I’m Samson , I’m 32 years old . I was a fit horse who still enjoyed hacking out.

I was happy in my field, my home with my sister Valentine, until I was attacked, by some men and forced to RUN & RUN until I couldn’t anymore and I collasped !

I was so glad to see my Dad the next morning, I could hardly move and he was unaware of what had happened to me !

When he saw me and realised I was in a bad way he managed to persuade me to walk to my stable block, that was so hard to do as you can see on the video clip of me that morning !

My dad noticed 2 tyre tracks in my field , someone had driven around my field something had happened to me

It’s been 8 weeks and I’m still really sore , I’m suffering from traumatic laminitis and my pedal bone has rotated

I lost so much weight from the trauma.

I’m a veteran now so my insurance will only now pay £1000 .

I’ve had surgery, dorsal wall done and egg bar shoes put on to help me.

I’ve a very long road to down, but I’m strong and determined to get better

I didn’t deserve this and neither did my owners.
