Help Samuel Griffin Replace His Stolen E-Bike

Hello, My name is Cossy Hough and Samuel Griffin has been one of my teenager's amazing teachers and mentors throughout their 4 years at Griffin School. Samuel is a mentor for many and a supporter of all kids. He meets them where they are. One amazing fact about him is that he holds an art contest/fundraiser each spring for Dell Children's in Austin. Students design and submit tattoo ideas, vote for their favorites and Samuel gets the winning design tattooed on his body. This, in memory and name of the loss of a former student. This is the person Samuel is.

Samuel has hit a rough patch in the last couple years and could use our help to replace his beloved electric bike. Please read his story below and let's get this bike replaced!

"About 2 years ago I was in a catastrophic accident that broke my right leg in 3 places. After months of being unable to walk, and lots of physical therapy, I was finally able to get off my couch, and explore the world again. Eventually, I was able to bike! Biking around Austin has always given me a sense of freedom and movement that is unlike any other. Especially after my accident, it was a source of joy that nothing else has really come close to.

About 2 weeks ago, my electric bike was stolen out of my garage. It was the second most expensive thing that I owned, and probably the thing that gave me the most happiness. Not only did someone violate my sense of peace in my home, they had literally taken away my happiness. Additionally, the renters insurance has determined that they will pay exactly zero dollars. If you have the ability, it sure would mean a lot if I could get this bike replaced. Thank you so much!"
