Samuel McFadden Benefit Fund
Donation protected
My sister, Jaclyn (Paisley) McFadden and her husband Sam McFadden are going through the unimaginable.
They recently celebrated 7 years of marriage and have 2 boys, Lincoln (5) and Auggie (2) and baby girl McFadden due in December 2023!!
In June 2023, Sam was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a type of aggressive brain cancer. This type of cancer has a grim prognosis and he has been given weeks or months to live, at most. Through the course of this disease he has undergone surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
As Sam continues to fight, he is no longer able to work due to the symptoms of his illness, including significant decrease of motor function and needing assistance to walk. Due to Sam's rapid decline, they are currently down to one income. Jaclyn will be taking FMLA (unpaid leave) to care for Sam in his final days and then Jaclyn will be off on maternity leave to have the baby. They will have several months of no income as they navigate this unfortunate circumstance.
We are completely heartbroken at the thought of losing Sam at such a young age. We are hopeful he will get to meet his daughter and praying for as much time as possible.
In an effort to assist with the financial burden and support his medical expenses, including in-home medical equipment and in-home care, and to support her and the 3 kids through the next 5-6 months until she is able to go back to work, donations can be made through gofundme, Venmo (@JaclynMcFadden) or to Jaclyn McFadden through the Samuel McFadden benefit fund at:
Bank of Springfield
3400 Wabash Ave.
Springfield, IL 62711
Any donation is so greatly appreciated❤️
On behalf of Jaclyn and Sam, and our entire family, we appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, and support shown over the past few weeks and undoubtedly, in the very tough months to come.
