Help Samuel Richards Fight Ulcerative Colitis

Hi! My name is Micah and I’m writing this message to ask for a bit of help.

My best friend, Sam, has been hospitalized since late 2023. He’s battling a chronic and severe bowel disease called Ulcerative Colitis. Although this has been something he’s dealt with for awhile now, recently things have taken a turn for the worse. Sam has been through a myriad of events over the span of a month. He currently is unable to ingest solid foods and has lost over 50+ pounds due to this illness. Sam has had to undergo major surgery to remove the entirety of his colon and have his organs redirected to install a colostomy bag. He has also had to endure another procedure due to internal bleeding. On top of all of this, he has been losing copious amounts of blood daily resulting in multiple and ongoing blood transfusions.

Sam is one of the strongest people I know, both physically and mentally, but he can’t do this alone. He needs our help. There are three ways we can help him:
