Samuel "Sam" Marvin

Samuel "Sam" Wayne Marvin, age 70, of Del City, OK, passed away on December 21, 2023. He survived five surgeries within seven months, but God numbered his days and brought Sam home to be with Him.

Sam lived in Del City the majority of his life. He has lived in the same house since he was 9 years old. He attended Sooner Rose Elementary School, Epperly Heights, Del Crest Junior High, and Del City High school where he graduated in 1971. He love Del City and the community.

Sam went on to become a teacher and spent 41 year teaching in Choctaw Public Schools where he influenced many children with his kind heart and love of learning.

Donation will be used to cover the many medical bills and funeral expenses.

Sam's funeral will be held at 10am on 12/29/2023 at the Howard Memorial Church on Reno and Sunnylane in Del City.
